Background expectation: Undergraduate student, Postgraduate student and Postdocs who are interested in computational physics. Students who already use AI agents, or have strong willingness to take challenges, are preferred.

Cost

No registration fee for students.
Lunch and dinner provided on site.
Accommodation is not covered by the budget — participants arrange their own stay. (If you need help, please contact us.)

Before You Arrive

Come with an AI coding agent installed and authenticated on your laptop if possible. The Day 1 workflow starts by cloning the harness and running its guided training; if gh or superpowers is missing, your agent can install them before continuing. See Resources for the current recommended agents and models.

What to bring:

A laptop with one AI coding agent installed and authenticated: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Kimi Code CLI, or OpenCode.
A GitHub account — /take-challenge uses it to open your draft registration PR before 15:00 on Day 1.
No prior pull-request experience is required. /beginner-training and /take-challenge guide the workflow.
Cluster access for compute-heavy tracks (CTMRG, QMC): compute runs on SCNet 超算互联网 — register at the on-site help desk for an account with login-node, scratch, and queue access. Nothing to arrange before you arrive.
