Before You Arrive
We assume you show up with AI agent tooling already set up on your laptop. The harness assumes you can fork a repo, run a make target, and converse with an agent in your terminal — we don’t run an introductory installfest on Day 1. See Resources for the recommended stack and setup links.
What to bring:
A laptop with one AI agent tool installed and authenticated (recommended: Claude Code — alternatives: Codex CLI, OpenCode).
Familiarity with git, make, and the terminal. If you’ve never opened a pull request, do it once on a sandbox repo before July 26.
Cluster access for compute-heavy tracks: TBD — student HPC accounts for login, scratch space, and queue access. The target is to confirm the cluster before harness release in mid-July, especially for CTMRG and QMC.
