Call for Challenges

We are collecting challenge ideas for Harnessing Quantum 2026. The only requirement is a well-posed issue that may potentially lead to a research output.

Submit a challenge idea: post a clear GitHub issue with a contact email for follow-up. Accepted ideas may become track harness material, discussion prompts, or student group targets in QuantumBFS/quantum.harness.

Accepted challenge proposals are listed below from GitHub issues with both the challenge and accepted labels.

Each group forks QuantumBFS/quantum.harness, works under solutions/<method>/<group>/, and opens a pull request back to main by Day 4 morning.

Your PR should include:

  1. Improvements to the harness system, such as a method skill upgrade.
  2. Your challenge solution in solutions/<method>/<group>/.
  3. One reproduction prompt in the PR comments, generated with the provided challenge-report skill.
